Professor Douglas Boyle (Bsc (Hons), PGDip IT, PhD), is the Director of the Research Information Technology Unit and is currently working as an advisor and collaborator with the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA). His areas of expertise include: automated ethical data acquisition at an enterprise level, data confidentiality, security, consent, governance and curation, data linkage utilizing cryptographic hashing with probabilistic properties, data stewardship, data wrangling and knowledge representation, epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology, and translational research and the implementation of technologies disease prevention.
