Nothing About Us Without Us; What should “real” community engagement look like?

Diabetes and health advocate, Renza Scibilia from Diabetes Australia and A/Prof Lucio Naccarella from University of Melbourne,  discussed the realities of community engagement in the health sector, and how it can be done a whole lot better than we’re seeing now. The session explores the ideas of co-design, co-development and co-implementation and provide ideas for moving engagement from tokenism to influence.
